On 19 November 2025 CFNEWS IMMO covered the first closing of Crayon Jaune and the thesis behind it: rent-to-own, a model still little known in France, starting in London with Keyzy as operator.

On 19 November 2025, CFNEWS IMMO reported the first closing of Crayon Jaune under the heading Le rent-to-own, thématique du nouveau fonds résidentiel de Crayon Partners, written by Sophie Martins Da Costa.
The article set the model out plainly. In rent-to-own, a household occupies the home it intends to buy under a fixed-term lease carrying a purchase option, and part or all of the rent it pays is convertible into the deposit it never managed to save. CFNEWS IMMO noted that the model remains little known in France, and that Crayon Jaune starts in London, the market where access to housing is tightest for young professionals and the self-employed.
The piece also described how the strategy is built. Crayon Jaune holds the buildings; Keyzy, the London rent-to-own operator, sources the households and underwrites the risk. That OpCo-PropCo split is the structure we use wherever an operator knows a market better than a fund ever will.
